When we arrived they forgot one of our beverages. Didn't think much of it, asked for it again, then two of our adult meals came out after waiting 40 minutes. 20 minutes after they were finished eating only one adult meal came out, 3 kids meals and pizzas delivered but she was missing a meal. Not a single apology just blamed the kitchen as they was only 1 cook.
We would not recommend going back food was okay nothing great. Service just like the last restaurant there is horrible.
Beautiful decor, with warm environment. Great TVs to watch the game. Service was phenomenal, very attentive and met all of our needs. Food was delicious, home cooked and made with love. They have an incredible mayonnaise maple sauce that was to die for. We will definitely be coming back soon!!!
Only apology we got was from a women making the pizzas.
First visit to the Mission was well above our expectations, food is easily the best in the area, no exceptions. Al was a wonderful server, he made our lunch feel like a tier above the rest. Kudos to the Mission Tavern.
No sign of management still, all the tables that had arrived after us had already ate, paid and left, still waiting for our last meal. When we finally received it and we ask what happened she then switch blamed to their ticket system and that only one meal goes back at a time. Paid our bills and then attempted to talk to management.
Finally the restaurants third excuse we came during a rush but that still doesn't explain three separate times of having food delivered to a table over an hour and a half. Just not acceptable not for even the server to bring this to her managements attention. All of my family has served and this has never happened during our career not even during a rush.
All in all we spent 1 hour and 45 minutes in this restaurant for a simple meal.
Great casual atmosphere. Every time I have been here I have tried something different and every meal has been fantastic. Great variety on the menu. Unique food options if you're in the mood for something different, but if you want the same ol burger, they have that too. Friendly staff. A fun place with a great patio.
Service was horribly and when attempting to talk to management they have no idea on how to deal with feedback. We had a table of 12, ordered 4 meals, 3 kids meals and two pizzas.
Would encourage the burgers, and our kids have fallen in love with the Gyro. Can't be disappointed when the whole family gives it a thumbs up.
Coming off our first trip to the Mission, we followed it up with a 2nd trip and it didn't disappoint. Cody took exceptional care of both us and our furry friend.
If you are in the Crosslake or Merrifield area you need to make a point to stop in and enjoy a fantastic "up north" bar and grill. I have had the opportunity to stop in on more than one occasion and without exception the service is top notch and the food is great...try the chicken bacon pita sandwich it won't disappoint! It's one of those places where you leave with new friends, less stress, and a smile.
